What we like
- A cockpit at most budgets. The range steps up from a $349 entry rig to $500 to $730 mid-range cockpits and $999 Formula/GT switchable models, so you can buy for where you are now.
- Built to be expanded. Most cockpits are listed as flight-simulator expandable and accept dozens of add-ons, from monitor stands to seat sliders and motion bases.
- Hardware from other brands in one cart. Simagic, Conspit and Heusinkveld wheels, pedals and handbrakes are sold alongside the rigs.
Watch out for
- The 14-day return window starts at dispatch, not delivery, so a slow shipment eats into it.
- Items must be unused and not installed to be returned. Assembling a rig to try it can cost you the return or a restocking fee.
- You pay return postage, and refunds don't include the original shipping.
- Most cockpits are sold without a seat, wheel, wheelbase or pedals. Budget for those separately.
