What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Moving lumbar support across the range. The H003, Magic H and NT002 chairs all list auto-following lumbar support with adjustable intensity, starting from $279.
- Free shipping from local warehouses. Chairs ship free to the contiguous US, the UK and most EU countries from US and EU warehouses, with 1-2 business days of processing.
- Parts sold separately. Gas lifts ($18), mechanisms ($35), headrests ($39), armrests ($63) and footrest pads ($35) are listed individually, which helps if a part wears out after the warranty.
Watch out for
- Return terms conflict: 60 days in the FAQ, 30 days on product pages and the after-sales policy. Get the window confirmed in writing.
- Change-of-mind returns cost $85 per chair ($150 per desk), deducted from your refund, and the chair should be unassembled or unused.
- Several product pages contradict themselves on specs (Standing-Mate capacity and seat height, Freedom-X lockable recline, H-Bpro footrest folding), and all specs are the brand's own claims.
- Some product pages (NT002, Standing-Mate) did not display a price, and discount wording varies between pages, so check the cart total.
Who should buy from Newtral
Newtral makes sense if you want a feature-packed mesh office chair with moving lumbar support, footrest or laptop table, or a wide cross-legged chair, and you are fairly sure of your choice before ordering. If you need a long, no-cost trial to decide, the return fees make it a weaker pick.
Newtral
Home-office workers up to about 6'3" who want a mesh chair with adjustable, moving lumbar support, a built-in footrest or laptop table, or a wide cross-legged seat, bought with free US shipping and a 3-year warranty.
