What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Full system from one maker. Speakers, Atmos modules, in-wall and in-ceiling models, subwoofers, super tweeters and multichannel amps are all sold under one brand.
- Home trial on speakers and amps. A 30-day in-home trial is published, with pages saying it can be extended up to 60 days, and prepaid return labels on most full-price returns.
- Long published warranty. The warranty page lists 5 years on current speaker lines and Energy amplifiers, transferable, with lifetime support after that (the brand's own terms).
Watch out for
- A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns, and discounted or promo items get no prepaid return label.
- Subwoofer amplifiers are covered for 2 years, not 5, and some pages show a conflicting "3-Year Warranty" badge; open-box warranty terms are not stated.
- Free shipping is advertised only for the Continental U.S.; Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and international orders cost extra or need a quote.
- Several product pages showed both "In stock" and "Sold Out" messages, so confirm availability before ordering.
Who should buy from Aperion Audio
Best suited to Continental U.S. buyers building or upgrading a home theater or stereo setup who are comfortable with separate passive speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers, and who want to audition gear at home before committing. Shoppers who may return items should budget for the 10% restocking fee.
Aperion Audio
Home theater and stereo buyers in the Continental U.S. who want to buy speakers, subs and amps direct from the maker, try them at home for 30 days and pick from regular sales and open-box units.
