What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Free shipping on bikes. The site advertises free shipping on all bikes, from US warehouses in four states.
- Fees are spelled out. The return and shipping policies list exact charges, so you know the cost of changing your mind.
- Parts are sold direct. Wheels, brakes, panels, levers and other V1 parts are listed in the store.
Watch out for
- The return policy says sale items aren't returnable, and bikes were on sale when we checked. Confirm with support before buying a discounted bike.
- Non-defect returns cost $180 per bike, and cancelling after shipping also costs $180.
- Speed and torque figures are the brand's claims. A 45 mph dirt bike is for off-road use; check local laws and wear proper gear.
- Shipping damage must be reported within 7 days, with photos or video.
Who should buy from Heybike Sports
If you've ridden or researched electric dirt bikes and the V1's price fits, Heybike Sports offers free shipping, a 1-year warranty and parts sold direct. If you're unsure, the strict 14-day, unused-only returns and $180 fee make it a costly experiment.
Heybike Sports
Riders in the continental US who have decided on an electric dirt bike, have a place to ride it off-road and want parts and support from the brand.
