What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Niche selection. Plague and gas-style masks, goggles, armor pieces and steampunk bags are hard to find in one place.
- Worldwide shipping with tracking. The shop ships to most countries and gives a tracking number once the parcel is sent.
- Defective items replaced. Items that arrive defective or damaged can be exchanged for the same item.
Watch out for
- Sale items can't be refunded, and most of the catalog is on sale.
- No product warranty is published, and you pay return shipping.
- Some bags described as leather list PU leather as the main material.
- The terms of service name a different shop ("inloveartshop"), and some titles read like marketplace listings.
Who should buy from Gear Rave
Gear Rave can work for a costume or photo shoot if a specific mask or bag catches your eye, but order early and assume you can't return it. If you need guaranteed quality or genuine leather, look for a seller with a warranty and clear material specs.
Gear Rave
Costume and cosplay buyers looking for steampunk masks, goggles, bags or props who are fine with treating a sale purchase as final.
Gear Rave FAQ
Is Gear Rave legit?
Gear Rave runs its own website with shipping, return and terms pages and a contact address in Guangzhou, China. Its terms are thin (no warranty, no refunds on sale items). This review is based on its official pages, not hands-on testing.
Can I return a sale item to Gear Rave?
No. Its return policy says only regular-priced items can be refunded.
Are Gear Rave bags real leather?
Check each listing. Several bags with "leather" in the title list PU leather as the main material.
How long does Gear Rave take to ship?
Orders usually go out within 4 days if in stock, or about a week if not, with a tracking number.
