What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Detailed spec sheets. Product pages list battery capacity, torque, brakes, weight, max load and range by assist level, with the test conditions (75 kg rider, 25°C, flat road).
- Free EU shipping on bikes. The shipping policy lists free DPD delivery for e-bikes and scooters, with 2-5 business days to France and Poland.
- Itemized warranty. The warranty page breaks coverage down part by part, and the EP-2 3.0 Boost gets 24 months on its frame, motor and battery.
Watch out for
- The standard warranty is 12 months on most bikes despite the "1-2 Year Warranty" badge; 24 months applies to the EP-2 3.0 Boost or via paid extensions.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer and non-refundable, and the return window was not readable on the site; check the Return & Refund Policy first.
- This EU store does not ship to the US; US buyers must use the separate US store with its own prices and terms.
- Specs vary between page sections (the EP-2 3.0 Boost lists a 13.5Ah battery but a 15Ah add-on), and range figures are the brand's own claims.
Who should buy from ENGWE
ENGWE makes sense if you live in the EU and want a feature-heavy 250W fat-tire folder or commuter e-bike with free shipping from a European warehouse. If you are in the US, or want free returns and a long standard warranty, look elsewhere or use the regional store.
ENGWE
Riders in the EU who want a 250W fat-tire folder, commuter or moped-style e-bike with torque sensors and big claimed range, shipped free from a European warehouse.
ENGWE FAQ
Is ENGWE legit?
engwe.com is the brand's own store with published shipping and warranty pages, a service email (service@engwe.com) and EU phone lines. This review is based on the official pages, not hands-on testing.
Does engwe.com ship to the US?
No. The EU store says it does not ship orders from Europe to the United States and points US buyers to the separate US website (us.engwe.com). ENGWE also runs regional stores such as UK, DE, FR, ES, IT, NL, PL, SE, DK and HU, with their own prices and terms.
How fast is ENGWE shipping in Europe?
The shipping policy lists 2-5 business days to France and Poland and 7-10 business days to other listed EU countries for e-bikes and scooters, free via DPD, after up to 2 business days of processing.
What is the ENGWE warranty?
The warranty page lists 12 months on frame, motor, battery and electronics for new bikes, shorter terms for wear parts, and 24 months on key parts of the EP-2 3.0 Boost. Paid extensions can be added at purchase only.
Can I return an ENGWE e-bike?
The store links a Return & Refund Policy we could not read, so check its terms first. The shipping policy says return shipping is paid by the customer and is non-refundable.
How we researched this
We have not tested ENGWE products hands-on. This review is based on the brand's official product, shipping, return and warranty pages, read on October 29, 2026. Specs and performance figures are the brand's own claims unless we say otherwise. Read our method.
