What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Large batteries on paper. The H6-S lists a 24Ah battery, the DUCK a 48V 21Ah (about 1008Wh) pack and the HM26 a 52V 20.8Ah LG pack, with range claims of 120-150 km.
- Free EU delivery from Poland. The FAQ lists free delivery throughout the EU, with 3-7 days from the Polish warehouse after 1-2 days processing.
- Detailed warranty table. The warranty page spells out coverage by part, with 2 years on the frame and 1 year on battery, motor and controller, and a named email for claims.
Watch out for
- Change-of-mind returns cost €350 round-trip shipping, need prior written approval, and the e-bike must be unused with under 10 km.
- The return window is stated as 30 days in the refund policy, 14 days in its withdrawal section and 15 days in the site banner; confirm before ordering.
- Warranty claims are only covered for the original buyer of bikes bought and used in the EU, and parts like the battery and motor get 1 year, not the 2 years the banner suggests.
- Product pages list conflicting numbers (HAM range, weight and max load; DUCK tire size; HM26 range and max load), and all specs are the brand's own claims.
Who should buy from Hanevear
Hanevear makes sense if you live in the EU and want a fat-tire folding, step-thru or full-suspension e-bike with a large battery, shipped free from Poland. If you might want to send it back, need a light bike, or are outside the EU, look elsewhere.
Hanevear
Riders in the EU who want a heavy-duty fat-tire folding, step-thru or mountain e-bike, are happy with a 25 km/h, 250W setup, and are confident they will keep the bike.
Hanevear FAQ
Is Hanevear legit?
hanevear-ebike.com is a Shopify store with published refund, warranty, FAQ and contact pages and named support email addresses. Some pages contradict each other (return window, warranty length), so read the policies before ordering. This review is based on the official pages, not hands-on testing.
Where does Hanevear ship from?
The FAQ names a Polish warehouse (3-7 days) and China (15-30 working days) as shipping origins, with free delivery throughout the EU. Buyers outside the EU are told to contact support first.
Can I return a Hanevear e-bike?
Only with prior approval. The refund policy says within 30 days of delivery, but it also mentions a 14-day window and the banner says 15 days. Non-quality returns cost €350 round-trip shipping, and the bike must be unused in original packaging.
What is the Hanevear warranty?
It is tiered: 2 years on the frame and similar structural parts, 1 year on battery, motor, controller, charger and fork, 6 months on display, brakes and gears, and 3 months on other parts. It covers the original buyer for bikes bought and used in the EU.
Are Hanevear e-bikes limited to 25 km/h?
Most models (H6-Light, H6-S, DUCK, HM26) list a 250W motor and 25 km/h. The HAM 2.0 International Version and RX20MAX-Pro list dual 750W motors and 48 km/h+, and the HAM page notes it is not legal once the speed limit is lifted. These are the brand's own claims.
How we researched this
We have not tested Hanevear products hands-on. This review is based on the brand's official product, shipping, return and warranty pages, read on October 29, 2026. Specs and performance figures are the brand's own claims unless we say otherwise. Read our method.
