What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Many budget brands in one place. Over 150 products from more than a dozen e-bike and scooter brands, with filters by motor power, wheel size, battery and price.
- Free delivery from EU stock. Most bikes ship free from EU warehouses, which avoids import surprises for EU buyers.
- A published warranty table. Coverage periods are listed part by part, so you know before buying what's covered for a year and what isn't.
Watch out for
- Returns of delivered bikes are refunded at 80% of the price, and you pay shipping both ways. Cancelling after 48 hours but before dispatch still costs 5%.
- To return a bike, the box must be sealed and the bike unassembled, so you can't try it and send it back.
- Brakes, lights and display get just 3 months of warranty, and paint, crankset and saddle only 15 days.
- Bikes bought with half-price-or-more discounts get a refund as the only warranty remedy.
Who should buy from Buybestgear
If you've already settled on a specific Vakole, Lankeleisi or Engwe model and Buybestgear has the best euro price, it's a reasonable place to buy. Don't order on impulse: the return fees make it an expensive way to change your mind.
