What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Wide range of styles. One store covers fat-tire, step-through, folding, moped-style, dual-motor and dual-battery bikes plus four e-trikes (Alaskan, Husky, Husky Plus, Rottweiler).
- Detailed warranty table. The warranty page breaks coverage down by component, with 3 years on the frame, 2 years (or 300 cycles) on the battery, and replacement parts shipped at PUCKIPUPPY's cost.
- Free, fast-shipping bikes. E-bikes ship free within the lower 48 states, processed within 48 hours and about 2-7 days in transit by FedEx, per the shipping policy.
Watch out for
- The 15-day return window is short, bikes over 10 miles cannot be refunded, you pay return freight and a restocking fee of up to 20% can apply.
- Shipping-damage claims must be reported within 5 days with photo or video proof, or they are denied.
- Many parts riders actually wear out (brakes, suspension fork, tires, throttle, lights, charger) carry only a 1-year warranty, and chains, pads and similar wear items are excluded.
- These are heavy bikes (about 63 to 111 lbs listed), and no shipping or warranty is offered in Alaska, Hawaii or US territories.
