What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Large themed catalog. Hundreds of book nook, miniature house, puzzle and music box designs across library, cafe, fantasy and gothic themes, most between about $48 and $80.
- Clear kit details. Product pages list finished dimensions, piece counts, build time, a star difficulty rating and what is not included, such as glue and AAA batteries.
- Parts replacement and duties covered. Missing or broken parts are replaced with photo proof, there is no restocking fee on returns, and the store says it pays import taxes and duties.
Watch out for
- Delivery is slow: 2-5 business days of processing (sometimes 7-10) plus 8-20 business days in transit, and the store does not say where orders ship from.
- Glue and batteries are not included, and build times run from a couple of hours to over 8 hours with small parts; most kits are rated 14+.
- Change-of-mind returns need prior approval and you pay non-refundable return shipping; several kits were listed as out of stock or pre-order.
- No warranty, phone number or company address is published, and piece counts, times and difficulty ratings are the brand's own claims.
Who should buy from Fifijoy
Fifijoy makes sense if you want a themed book nook or miniature room kit to build yourself or give as a gift, and you are patient with small parts and slow shipping. If you want a ready-made display piece or fast delivery, look elsewhere.
Fifijoy
