What we like, and what to watch
What we like
- Gear that converts. The bouncer, activity center and bath seat are each sold as 4-in-1 products meant to cover several stages, and the bouncer is listed from birth to about two years.
- Changing pad with a built-in scale. The 4-in-1 changing pad combines a changing surface, a baby scale, a measuring tape and a detachable display in one $89.99 item, according to the product page.
- Replacement parts sold separately. Trays, pianos, wheels, covers and activity-center parts are listed individually from about $12.90, so a lost or worn piece does not mean replacing the whole product.
Watch out for
- Change-of-mind returns cost a flat $18 to $28 per return, and the return must be approved before you ship it.
- Cancelling more than 24 hours after payment only gets you a partial refund (shipping cost plus 60% of the product price).
- Many product pages, including the bouncer, high chair, bath seat and changing pad, showed "Out of stock" when we checked.
- Product pages advertise a "100% money-back guarantee" and 12-month warranty, while the refund and warranty pages are narrower; go by the written policies.
Who should buy from Cuddobaby
Cuddobaby is worth a look if you like the idea of one convertible bouncer or a changing pad that doubles as a scale, and you can plan ahead for shipping times. Check that the item is actually in stock and be sure before you order, because returns and late cancellations cost money.
Cuddobaby
Parents who want one convertible seat or a changing pad with a built-in scale instead of buying several separate items, and who are fine waiting up to about three weeks for delivery.
